Map of Campus

Fraternity Row

This outdoor practice rugby pitch is located in the middle of Fraternity Row, half a mile south of the main campus entrance and just north of the Maryland Book Exchange. Training sessions are held in the afternoon and early evenings, depending on the weather and time of year.

Comcast Turf

The Recreation Artificial Turf is known as the Comcast Turf and is located on north campus, adjacent to the Comcast Center site. The surface is a 100% rubber infill artificial turf surface manufactured by FieldTurf. This lighted multi-purpose field consists of two full size rugby practice pitches. The Comcast Turf is utilized for training sessions and scrimmages during the spring pre-season and for training in inclement weather.

Cole Field House:

Indoor training sessions are held on the turf located inside the William P. Cole, Jr. Student Activities Building, more commonly known as Cole Field House. In addition to the turf field, the main concourse level serves as a running track for fitness work. Cole was the home of the University of Maryland basketball teams from 1955 until it was replaced by the Comcast Center in 2002. Cole Field House is situated in the heart of the campus, just across a street from the Stamp Student Union

Ledo’s Field:

Terrapins Rugby utilizes a local park field that is just west of campus when outdoor training is preferred, but University field space is not available. This multi-sport field is known as the “Ledo’s Field” given that the popular pizza joint is located in the adjacent shopping center. Ledo’s Field is located at University Blvd and West Park Drive, a half a mile west of campus.
